Dealer-free Poker Tables Installed at Galaxy Star World Casino Macau

The dealer-free poker tables we previously reported on have made their debut at the Galaxy Star World Casino in downtown Macau.

While this probably isn't that big news, it actually is big news - there is finally POKER in Macau. Due to the shortage of trained dealers in the region, casinos haven't been able to offer traditional poker games to their patrons, but with the new electronic poker tables developed by PokerTek, they are now able to offer Hold Em, Omaha, Stud and other traditional poker games.

As the dealer pool in Macau begins to ramp up with the massive growth of Macau's casinos, expect to see some massive - truly massive - tournaments to begin popping up at many of Macau's casinos.

Here's your *real* World Series of Poker.
