Psychologist from Temecula, California has won the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event. Jerry Yang (not the other Jerry Yang - co-founder and current CEO of Yahoo!) has taken home an $8.25 million dollar payday after a greuling 14 hour final table yesterday.

Yang was on a tear yesterday, destroying almost 1/2 of the final tables contestants in the first four hours of play. His huge chip stack did cause him to make some serious mistakes (not as horrific as Andrew Black's melt down in the 2005 WSOP) but he eventually righted his listing ship and beat out Tuan Lam to take the title.

In case you were wondering, this is what $8.25 million dollars in cash looks like:

Congratulations Jerry!
