Harrah's Atlantic City Opens Spiffy New Pool & Spa

A major part of the $550 million dollar renovation and upgrade at Harrah's Atlantic City opened this weekend.

"The Pool" at Harrah's - a $28 million dollar dome enshrined mondo pool and spa joint - is now open for all Harrah's Atlantic City guests. This project is part of Harrah's hopes to drive non-gaming, and eventually non-bus junket, travelers to not only play, but stay at the seaside resort.

The Pool is an 'adults only' affair (yay!) featuring 12 cabanas, 6 jacuzzis, a bar, a mondo sized pool (headed to 77°) in a 172,000 square foot tree lined, indoor paradise capped off by a glass dome 90 feet tall.

If that weren't enough to make you want to book a reservation, The Pool also offers an Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa right next door. These are all quite luxurious amenities for normally middle-tier grinder focused Harrah's Entertainment. Spa treatments and chillin by the pool drinking mojitos in February... awwwwyeah.

I can't wait to visit.
