Happy 3rd Birthday VegasTripping!

Oh how the years just fly right by... on May 3, 2004 the domain name VegasTripping.com was purchased and a silly temporary splash page was thrown up on the internet as a placeholder a week later. In July 04 the first version of VT was born - a peculiar pastiche of greens, yellows and pinks accented by western-style "Pirates Gold" and curly script "Muriel" fonts. A year later we came to our senses, got a proper logo and dropped the pinkandgreenbarfplosion for a nice charcoal grey. The rest, as they say, is polish.

In the last three years VegasTripping has served up approximately 477 GB of data transfer, just shy of 100,000,000 requests, 5,000,000 pages by 1,471,000 Windows users, 148,000 mac users, 7200 linux users, 679 web tv surfers (?). The most visited hour of the week for VT is Wednesdays between noon and 1pm - hump of the hump day.

No matter how you slice it... thats a lot of Wayne Fucking Newtons. While we take this moment to glance back at the family album and mark our birthday with a little bit of astonishment (look how we've grown!) we also want to thank you... our readers - both regular, occasional and transient for making these first three years unbelievably exciting.

But this isn't it... theres a shit load more stuff coming down the pike that we are extremely excited about and think you're gonna dig too...

PS if you look quickly at the name it reads vegas-stripping which is good as well.
