We've seen a lot of oddball stories here, but this one surely takes the cake. Thanks to donnymac66 for sharing gem with us.

Apparently, some yahoo from Spokane Washington decided to dig up the$14,500 in cash he had buried in his back yard shortly before heading out to Vegas. Upon unearthing the dirty money, he figured it might be a good idea to let it dry out on the top of his camper which was parked in the garage. Nobody likes damp musty cash flying around a baccarat table.

The time finally came for the Vegas trip and our hero called his buddy and said "hey man... go get the camper from my garage and lets drive to Vegas" completely obivious to the snowstorm of small bills billowing from the top of the camper.

Washington State Police were called at about 2pm to quell the crowds of people darting onto the freeway to catch the money. All in all, $7k of this buried treasure is unaccounted for. Anyone who happens to fine some loot flying around the Altamont Exit near Spokane is requested to call (509) 456 4101.
