Note To Self: Don't Visit Casino After Setting My House on Fire With People Sleeping Inside

You just burned your house down with four people sleeping inside, what are you gonna do now? I'm going to Disneyland gamble!

Apparently, that was what Nancy Jean Jewett of Lakewood, Colorado thought last night while on the run from the fuzz for attempted murder and arson.

Nancy, you silly bird.

From what I've read and seen in movies, murder suspects generally "hide" or "run" when the heat is on. I'd venture a guess - this is only a guess, since I'm not a murderer - that wasting time at the penny slots would probably be one of the *last* things on their 'to do' lists when on the lam.

Check out the story to see a photo of Nancy... she sure is a bit mannish. This cockatoo wanted to get caught.
