Las Vegas Review Journal Unveils New Website
The R-J has gotten into the Vegas redesign act and unleased a full on revamp of their website.
Oh my goodness.
We've always liked the R-J's quaint design, easy to read, easy to navigate, easy to find stuff. Its simplistic usability made us overlook the layout bugs and defects. Well... it seems that the stuff that was busted before has grown legs and crawled all over the site. Flyout DHTML navigation menus that hide behind advertisements? The weird white top nav that has strange lines between the "weddings" and "golf" tabs... the blownout calendar fonts, the right column's strange drop shadow and content that dosen't fit... the bugs are numerous and odoriferous.
Obviously their design/development team didn't look at their work on Firefox or Safari - its a complete mess.
Shame shame.
