Our First Photos from Bills Gamblin Hall and Saloon
Just got in the door from Vegas with a bunch of photos and news to report about things in town. The VT Posse made a quick tour of Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon (formerly known as Barbary Coast) to check out the status of the transition.
Cosmetically, Bill's interior looks no different, although we're sure big time Barbary Coast fans will notice more stuff than we did. The carpeting is still the same, the joint looks a little cleaner (if you can believe that) most references to Barbary Coast have been removed, and some of the new signage is either in place, or being worked on. The electronic billboard states that Bill's rooms have been refurbished and now have plasma TVs. How Harrah's managed to do this in 2 days is beyond me.
Here's a coupla photos we snapped...

Some Barbary Coast references have yet to be removed.

Big Elvis adds a Friday show... let's hope he moves to weekends too.

The new $5 chip. Sorry about the lousy quality - I took a quick snap to get it up on the site ASAP. Better scans will be forthcoming.

Comments & Discussion:
With the changeover one of my favorite places in Vegas has been harrahized....understand the NSUD has already been downgraded. What a Shame.
