Would you like to buy a vowel? New Jersey's first casino is selling a few. Some consonants, too.

Resorts Atlantic City, which was Atlantic City's first casino when it opened its doors in 1978, has put the letters of its original signs up for auction on eBay.

For 25 years, the two red-and-white neon signs adorned the top of Resorts' hotel tower. The 14 capital letters that comprised them were removed by crane two weeks ago in preparation for the opening of a taller tower at the Boardwalk casino.

The letters from the larger sign are 10 feet tall and weigh 400 pounds. The smaller letters are 8 feet tall and weigh about 285 pounds.

Minimum bid: $250.

If the sign letters sell, Resorts plans to donate the proceeds to the Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club and the Atlantic County Special Services School District.
