Atlantic City Casinos to Reopen Tonight

Three days of lost revenue, closed buffets, cancelled reservations and postponed poker tournements later, Atlantic City's thriving gaming industry is about to come back online. The closure, caused by New Jersey's state budget crisis, left 45,000 casino workers out on the street without pay and ruined scores of senior citizen day trip bus junkets in the lurch. Fortunately for the blue haired contingent the buses will start rolling again soon.

Gaming stock watchers should probably expect a dip in major gaming stocks as July earnings are announced in August and again when Q3 ends. Might be a nice time to scoop up some shares from the shorties.
