This is starting to get difficult to track with 4 companies bidding for the Tropicana Vegas/AC's parent company Aztar so we'll break it down.

Mid March: Pinnacle Gaming offers $38/share of Aztar
Late March: Colony Capital offers $41/share
April 3: Ameristar Offers $42/share
April 17: Columbia-Sussex offers $47/share
April 19: Pinnacle Ups its originally offer to $43/share
April 21: Ameristar ups its offer to $45/share

As it stands, Columbia-Sussex has the highest cash bid... but there are other incentives and pot sweeteners so one of the other offers might actually be "better".

We just hope they don't close Folies Bergere.
