Another Note To Self: Don't Go On Machete Rampage Next Time At Caesars Atlantic City

In a story torn right from the playbook of Grand Theft Auto Las Venturas, Atlantic City po-lice caught a lunatic who solved an argument not by pocket knife or pistol but by pulling out a friggin machete. Word on the street is that a machete is the new must-have accoutrement - just strap it to your belt next to your Blackberry and iPod. Whatever. Don't try this at home folks.

Here's the rundown from the Press of AC:

Police arrested a city man after a stabbing outside Caesars Atlantic City early Saturday morning.

James Prednes, whose age and hometown were not available, told police he saw a man and woman arguing near the valet area in front of Caesars. He walked over to see what was going on when the man pulled out a machete and slashed at Prednes. He suffered a minor cut to the stomach.

The suspect, identified as David Corcoran, of Atlantic City, was caught at Georgia and Pacific avenues with a machete in his hand, Lt. Michael Tullio said.
