Flanked by beauty queens, Planet Hollywood executives broke ground on a high-rise time-share and condominium development planned next to the Aladdin Resort & Casino.

The Planet Hollywood Towers project is part of the expansion and rebranding of the Aladdin, which is scheduled to become the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in the second half of this year.

Developers put the price tag on the towers at $750 million. They say the project will include more than 1,200 units, and 28 of those will be luxury condominiums ranging in price from $4 million to $10 million.

The remaining units will be time-shares that start at $2,500 a week.
