Boardwalk Vegas Closing - Five Days and Counting

The long standing Boardwalk Hotel and Casino is closing January 9th... a mere 6 days from today, three days after the end of the Consumer Electronics Show. You've got six more days to witness the fabulous Purple Reign Prince Tribute, the spectacular 24-7 Surf Buffet, those lovely $3 blackjack tables, and the absolutely scary Clown face.

But let us weep no more... for with the implosion of the Boardwalk, we're taking steps forward to the reality of Project CityCenter, the mixed use sci-fi super city that will expand monolithically from Monte Carlo to Bellagio, seeming to engulf The Cosmopolitan construction site and the venerable Jockey Club.

Yes, another grand dame is turning to dust... but did anyone really like this place anyways?
