Real Deal on the Palazzo
Compared to it's sister property, The Venetian, the Palazzo's casino is equally boring, yet infinitely more spacious and much better organized. For the most part, foot traffic paths are spacious and getting from one side of the casino to another is quick and easy... amen to that.
The casino design shows a noticeable Asian influence coupled with its Italianate design sense. Interspersed between the inlaid frescoes and other Italian trimmings are architectural allusions to Shoji doors and other Chinese and Japanese interior touches.
Don't expect any phantasmic eye opening architectural wonders in the casino, essentially It's an extremely unimaginative rectangular box filled with casino games surrounded by restaurants. Ho Hum.
Are the vibes lucky at Palazzo?
We're not big fans of the Venetian or Palazzo's casinos. Palazzo's casino is more spacious and the games are reasonably fair, but due to the fact that they don't cater to the real players, the excitement level in there just never gets humming. If you like playing blackjack with a tablefull of salesmen in town for the funeral directors or cement truck manufacturers convention, you'll love this place. As for us, we prefer to gamble where the other guests are actual gamblers, not business people tacking charges onto the expense account. Thats not to say that conventioneers don't know how to gamble or party, they do... but if they do, they're smart enough to go to Wynn.
What casino games are offered at Palazzo?
All the games you'd expect and more. Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow, Three Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Slots, Video Poker and more. If you're looking for poker, head over to the Venetian's poker room. There is a small sports book stand on the floor below the lobby, purposefully located adjacent to Jay-Z's 40/40 Club, which is essentially a plush sportsbar with VIP pool table and party rooms.
Does Palazzo have casino comps?
Despite years of playing in the Venetian's casino, we've yet to get one decent comp through Club Grazie (translated from Italian means Thank You Club). Other people do get comps, we don't. Take that as you wish.

Service was awful! They thought we canceled our reservation (switched from Venetian), took 1.5 HOURS for a blanket and pillow, and our room was not clean when we were not in the room from 11-4:30 pm. The shopping area is awkwardly placed/designed. But, the restaurants I went to (Carnevino, David Burke) were great, the non-smoking area at the casino was nice and the Coffee Bean right near the elevators was great! Would I stay again? No. Would I eat there? Yes. Would I like to try another place? After only going ot MGM Grand, THEhotel, Venetian, and Palazzo...yes!

Palazzo is my current favorite - much like the Venetian but done much better. Better layout for sure, better pool deck, better casino, just better.

First class all the way. The room was super pimped out.

There is a lot that the Palazzo offers that I enjoy. The gaming and dining is right at the top of that list. I feel most comfortable at this property because the layout is simple and understandable.

Brand new and really nice. The rooms are the best thing about this hotel. The gambling is good. 40/40 club is over rated, but the people are very friendly.

A more casual, less maze-like property. The Venetian for those of us who don't like getting lost. Parking access is a godsend.

I stayed here during a conference a few months after it opened in 2008. Rooms were very nice. At the time their Grazie club was only good for 3 months and then you had to re-enroll. Pretty sure that has been changed by now.

While it has the nicest standard hotel rooms in Vegas, it has the overall feel of an upscale shopping plaza, not of a multi-billion dollar resort and casino in Las Vegas. It's just lacking the overall vibe and tiny little details that make Wynncore and Bellagio so special.

Despite having the best parking garage in town, everything about this place sucks ass. The lousy service, horrible games, overpriced food, faux luxury rooms, and total lack of personality make this my least favorite resort. And they have the nerve to call this place 5 star?!?

My wife and I stayed in April, arriving on a Thursday. Was told by the person taking phone reservations where to park in the underground parking for check-in (southwest corner by elevators). Elevators took us right up to the reservation check-in area completely on the outside of the casino area, (nice). Every check-in station was manned and no wait at all. Had a three day stay planned and had paid for a base rate room, was comped double upgraded to a view Fortuna suite (VERY NICE). I could write so much more about how our stay was COMPLETELY RELAXING but if you have the opportunity to stay there the accomodations will not disappoint. The entire staff was very responsive to any of our needs. Pool was nice, will be better when the rest open. Hope to go back there our next Vegas visit.
