A neato snackbar in the far corner has a great 99¢ menu. Also located there is an ice cream joint, a pizza joint and a burger joint. Decent cheap food.
Where is O'Shea's Located?
Can't beat it. O'Shea's is a grad-school aged hangout for folks you'd probably see at your local pub. Cool nice folks who play smart but have limited bankrolls... and that dosen't mean the place is skanky... its awesome.

Need a place to stay overnight? Try the craps tables at O'Shea's! There's no hotel, but who the fuck cares. Not so hot on the way O'Shea's has changed since Harrah's took over. Seems to have lost a lot of its charm. Slowly falling off my list of favorites.

Man, if you like poor drunk girls, this place after 2 a.m. is like shooting fish in a barrel. The bartenders, in my experience, are more interested in talking to their friends then earning my tip money, though.

My absolute favorite place to play in Las Vegas. My last two trips to Vegas, the bulk of my gambling was done there. The group of folks I meet up with out in Vegas once a year use the place as a base of operations. As a result, most of us end up staying nearby (Flamingo, I.P., Harrah's) because of it as well. Friendly dealers, quirky (in a great way) and the 24 hour Happy Hour rocks. And the food court is pretty decent and very good on the wallet (more $$$ for the tables). Plus out front is the best place to people watch.
