Orleans - The Real Deal :
The Orleans is one of the best of the off-Strip locals-centric casinos which can be summarized thusly: value. From dining to hotels to shows to the casino, the Orleans offers some of the best bang for the buck you'll find anywhere in Las Vegas. Competitive payouts on slots and video poker keep the locals and budget conscious tourists staying and playing.
Location of Orleans:
Orleans is located on Tropicana Blvd 2 miles west of the Strip, a decent clip off the beaten track. The good news is that Orleans offers shuttle service to the Gold Coast, the bad news is that the Gold Coast isn't located on the Strip either... but its getting closer!

The Rooms at Orleans
Nice clean recently redesigned (2008) rooms at a great price. If you don't mind staying away from the action and like something a little bit quieter (compared to Hard Rock, Palms or Rio) the Orleans is a great place to stay. Rooms range from $55 midweek to $129 for special event weekends (tournaments etc). Be sure to check your BConnected players card for promos, deals and offers.
Restaurants at Orleans
Orleans offers numerous dining options including Canal Street for steaks & seafood, Prime Rib Loft for even more steak, Big Al's Oyster Bar, French Market Buffet (open till 10pm), Don Miguel's Mexican food, Courtyard Cafe 24 hr coffee shop, Koji Sushi Bar and China Bistro because all asian food can be lumped under one roof, TGIFridays, Seattle's Best Coffee (which it isn't), Subway, Fuddruckers and Sbarro in the food court. All good food, reasonably priced... good value.
