Real Deal on the Main Street Station
Main Street Station's casino is an amalgam of pieces and parts to elegant and odd historical places from around the world. Sort of like a minature collage in the Hearst Castle sense of the word... a mantle from here, a urinal from there, a fire place from here a prehistoric video poker machine from some other place - this joint is a crazy quilt of "stuff". While this may depict a Sanford & Son image in your mind - rest assured the design and presentation is elegant, rich and seamless. It's a fantastic joint to stay at and gamble.
Are the vibes lucky at Main Street Station?
Good place to gamble. Decent Slots and Video poker, 20x odds on craps, great drink service and a really creative, interesting vibe. Since it's a little "off" the downtown strip, the place attracts a more 'discerning' clientele than old sawdust joints like Binions and the Las Vegas Club.
What casino games are offered at Main Street Station?
Blackjack, Craps (20x odds), Roulette, Baccarat, Big Six, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let it Ride, Three Card Poker, Slots (Ticket - no coins), Video Poker... the usual suspects.
Does Main Street Station have casino comps?
Main Street Station has daily slot tournaments.
Readers Who Added Main Street Station to their MyVegas Favorites

My favorite casino. I wish they would send me offers though and I can't understand why they do not. On my last visit I played there every day, yet I only played at the Fremont once and they sent me an offer for 3 free days.

Loved staying here - plenty of good video poker, plus the scratch cards add a few bucks here or there for your 4 of a kind. Microbrews for all! Only casino I've been at where the dealers talk my ears off just because they want to.

I stayed here once, but spent all my time at a convention, so I didn't get to appreciate it. I'll be staying again this week (June 2011). I think it beats the Golden Nugget for beauty. Love the buffet! Gorgeous setting, low prices, great food.

Any place I can get free micro brews while gambling at the craps table is all right with me. Taking a drunken piss on the Berlin Wall ain't too shabby as well.

The "eat a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich during the first night in Vegas" tradition might beat the "have a beer at Monte Carlo Pub when first entering town" tradition.

Love the Triple 7 Brew Pub and the general atmosphere of this casino. I'd stay here if I didn't want to stay in a hotel with a pool.

Above average buffet, very friendly atmosphere. $1 micro brewed beer! a brew pub on site with some very good beer. Haven't stayed here, but do enjoy the casino atmosphere.

A cool place to explore and well worth the walk from Fremont to visit this little beauty. We spent an enjoyable hour simply wondering around and locating the antiques Boyd collected from around the world. They provide a brochure map with descriptions of the antique items to those interested. The casino bar with the large bronze boar statue is simply beautiful and has become one of our favorite Vegas spots to sip on a drink and relax. They make their own tasty microbrew beer, have the best buffet downtown and is easy to get to via the enclosed walkway to the larger California casino. A little lacking on the fun-o-meter, but for what it is MSS is a gorgous spot to spend a few hours.

Nice joint! and great food! but I'm not much of a fan of staying in downtown.. Plus, with the large amount of Hawaii folk staying there from the airfare/hotel/meal packages that Boyd Gaming sells through Vacations Hawaii, I choose to stay else where just for the adventure of getting away from life in Hawaii. VP machines on main bar has pretty good paybacks on Double Bonus Poker.

Used to be the Holiday International Casino..
Great Micro Brewery and probally the nicest place Downtown..

The casino isn't that hot (although if you consider it and the Cal one entity it gets better) but value is the name of the game here. And the turn of the century motif is charming.

I love this place. The rooms are nothing to write home about unless you really love shoulder-height showerheads in antiquated bathrooms. However, the gambling is great -- friendly dealers, quick cocktail waitresses, great VP options. The Boar's Head Bar serves up the beer made onsite at Triple Seven, which is also a great place to eat. Really, I should just stay here every time because I spend a lot of time here.
