History of CityCenter
City Center is currently being built upon the land that was occupied by a strip mall, Monte Carlo's parking garage, the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino and a massive asphalt parking lot that extended from Monte Carlo to Bellagio. The first pieces of groundbreaking took place in June 2005, with the implosion and removal of the Boardwalk to take place in Mid 2006. City Center is scheduled to open in late 2009.
How are the rooms at CityCenter?
Shopping, resort amenities, supermarkets, boutique hotels, condominiums as well as a massive resort casino are planned for the property. Massive oasis -like pools are planned to surround the condo towers situated out back, as well as every possible "City" amenitie you could imagine. Throw everything you might want in a city under one roof, then tear the roof off.
