Here Comes The Sun : Cirque du Soleil Meets The Beatles

Conjecture and Prestidigitation About The Beatles/Cirque Show Coming to Mirage in 2006

Another key song St-Croix mentioned was "Here Comes The Sun" a George Harrison song from Abbey Road - a positive song about thawing of winter or a difficult relationship, both of which are heating up.

Here Comes The Sun (from Abbey Road)
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...(4x)
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
It's all right

Both songs deal with anticipation and celebration, possibly if these two songs were to be presented in a "chronological" format, "Here Comes The Sun" would come before "Sun King" as they are on "Abbey Road".

What other "sun" related Beatles songs are there? A bunch. "I'll Follow The Sun" (from Beatles For Sale) and "Good Day Sunshine" (from Revolver) are the only directly related titles in the catalogue (Mother Nature's Son dosen't count).

I'll Follow the Sun (from Beatles for Sale)
One day you'll look to see I've gone.
For tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun.
Some day you'll know I was the one.
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun.
And now the time has come
And so my love I must go.
And though I lose a friend,
In the end you'll know, oooh.
One day you'll find that I have gone.
For tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun.
Yes, tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun.
And now the time has come
And so my love I must go.
And though I lose a friend,
In the end you'll know, oooh.
One day you'll find that I have gone.
For tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun.

Good Day Sunshine (from Revolver)
Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

I need to laugh and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about
I feel good in a special way
I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

We take a walk, the sun is shining down
Burns my feet as they touch the ground

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

Then we'd lie beneath the shady tree
I love her and she's loving me
She feels good, she knows she's looking fine
I'm so proud to know that she is mine.

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine
