Terrace Pointe Cafe at Wynn Las Vegas Review

After some careful pondering Deborah took our order and we went with the Monkay's recommendation and she got the crab frittata. When our breakfast arrived on the elegant plates, oh my, was all I could say. It was a sight to behold. The pancakes were added for a few clams because Miss Monkay raved about how fluffy they were. The signature silverware was a delight to use. I loved how they weighed and felt as I stirred my coffee. They served it with a small carafe which kept it piping hot.. a bottomless cup o' joe. All of us pleaded no contest that this was some of the best coffee, ever.

Terrace Pointe Cafe at Wynn Las Vegas Review

These babies are simply the best pancakes in Vegas. I am a huge fan of pancakes and these are definitely the best EVER. Mark my words. The syrup and butter were perfect additions to the great kahuna of all flapjacks. The cake is browned just right on both sides and you can see how thick that thing is just melts in your mouth, the morsel drenched in the maple elixir. Hot-damn. I asked Miss Monkay to help me finish the monstrous fluffy pancake with that very tasty syrup. Throughout the meal I kept on raving about how wonderful it was. I announced that this is a must-have when in Vegas... for sure.

You didn't mention the soft morsel of potato pancake that cradled the poached egg!

ok that made me hungry and i hate seafood

Ah yes, my bad. That was probably the best part of the dish... Tasty cakes!

I'm heading to The Vegas next week. I've been looking for an excuse to go to Wynn. I think you just provided me that excuse.

Now, if you want to try the BEST pancakes. Like, ever? You need to go to Key West, FL and hop on down to a place called Blue Heaven. Yeah, it's outside. Yeah, they use old sails over the trees as shade. OK, there are chickens and baby chicks peeping away at your feet for bits of toast. But that's part of the charm! The food is fanTASTIC and they have the best pancakes. Allow me to recommend the "Rooster Special." Some mighty fine eatin' right there.

Thanks for the review on this place. I will definately try it out...and see about these pancakes. :)
