Caesars Palace Julius Tower
The VegasTripping Review 2016
Bedding, Pillows & Linens
The king size bed features a cool and comfortable pillow top mattress and breathable linens. The bed features a traditional headboard, behind which a three panel padded board is mounted on the wall. The mirrored sections of the wall align perfectly with the dimensions of the nightstands, reflecting their lamp light throughout the room and expanding the sensory dimensions of the room. This, coupled with the dimensions of the bathroom (as you will see) makes this standard, and somewhat small hotel room truly feels more like a suite. This is great design.
And yes, the gold borders on the pillow cases match the curtain, hallway carpet and wall coverings.
The bed is fitted with two "show" and four "blow" pillows. They were smushy soft and breathed wonderfully.
The mattress is brand new, pillow top. Housekeeping was impeccable. It should be noted that this room is brand new and still smelled like new carpeting, fresh vinyl, paint and wallpaper paste. Who doesn't love that new hotel smell!
Furniture & Decor
The headboard... French vanilla, chocolate syrup and mocha creme. I'm hungry.
The padding on the wall was covered in a textured fabric and had gold framing.
The alternate view.
The framed artwork on the far wall is not your standard hotel garbage art. This stuff is custom made for Caesars Palace and features an array of Roman sculptures, reimagined as showgirls.
Unlike most hotel rooms which offer hyperscope photos of bugs, or flowers or paintings by the modern masters, the Caesars Palace Julius Tower room art gives the guest a clearly defined sense of place... you are at the Roman themed Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Showgirls! This is great.
