PH Towers Photo Review By Head58
Kiss And Condotelling at the P-Tow
Here's a special treat. VT reader (and self-admitted three-year-lurker) head58 spent a coupla nights at the PH Towers condotel thingy attached to Planet Hollywood and brought back this incredibly thorough review. Thank you Mr. Head for sharing your PH Towers stay with us!
Like City Center's Vdara, PH Towers Westgate opened in December 2009 and features a very modern glass and steel style. You also have to walk 5 minutes through a mall to get to the hotel, but unlike Crystals, the Miracle Mile doesn't actively sneer at your tax bracket.
PH Towers (the plural is intentional as they originally intended to build two towers, and the model in the lobby still shows a pair of towers, but it's all filthy lies as honestly there's nowhere in the footprint of the property to even think about another) is an all-suite property that lacks a casino of its own, although it is connected very closely to the Planet Hollywood casino. Your greatest exposure to PH Towers has probably been from high pressure timeshare salesgrubs trying to get you to buy in. The market being what it is, most of the rooms are available for us touristy. The hotel is at the southeast corner of the Miracle Mile shops and can be accessed either through the mall or by a short walk up Harmon. The Planet Hollywood parking garage, incredibly inconvenient to the actual PH hotel, is connected directly to the PH Towers lobby.
