Deluxe Panoramic View Rooms At Wynn Las Vegas : The VT Review
Exclusive First Photos of the New Rooms At Wynn Las Vegas
It is hard to believe that Wynn Las Vegas has been open for five whole years. It is even harder to believe that the time has come for the first renovation cycle in the lifespan of WLV. We managed to sneak our way up into one of these brand new rooms at Wynn Las Vegas on the very first they they were available. In fact, they still aren't available via traditional booking methods, but you can get one when you check in by asking at the front desk for a "Deluxe" upgrade. The rooms should become available for booking via the website within the next few weeks.
The stellar resort experience at Wynn remains unchanged, the only differences we are here to observe is the refreshed room decor and a sprinkling of new electronics. The wallpaper, carpet and furnishings have been mostly replaced and the room has been redesigned by Roger Thomas to elaborate on the language developed by the man who designed the Encore suites, Todd-Avery Lenahan. If you are familiar with Encore's rooms, the new rooms at Wynn Las Vegas will feel instantly familiar. The previous room designs are here.
The first thing I notice upon arrival is that new hotel smell... a strange mix of paint, wood and wallpaper paste. Yum. And I mean that. There is nothing like a brand new, or brand renewed hotel. I love it. There is nobody up here, I'm told by Wynn PR folks that I will be the "lone ranger" up here, officially the "first person" to stay in the new rooms before they open them to the public.
