The New Rooms : The M Suites at Harrah's Las Vegas

Harrah's Goes Modern... Oh Yeah?

Harrah's Las Vegas M Suites Review

The bathrooms feature jacuzzi jet tub, marble floors, countertops & showers (not pictured). The wallpaper print is borderline outrageous, in a good way although I'd be careful in there depending on what kind of creative chemistry you may be partaking in.

Harrah's Las Vegas M Suites Review

TV-in-the-mirror, that miracle of Go Room technology returns, although I'm curious whether or not one can actually see the tv when soaking in the tub. Bathroom amenities are by Gilchrist & Soames, who also did the goodies in the Go Rooms.

Other neato stuff that comes with : microfiber robes, slippers, and a Denon sound system with mp3 player dock and CD/DVD capabilities - another success from the Go Rooms ported to the M Suites.

Frankly, I'm shocked. Not just because the M Suites are pretty spiffy, but at the audacity of Harrah's to introduce high-mid tier room product into a resort that isn't of that level. With the success of the Go Rooms in transforming the Flamingo from a feeling of "marooned on bamboo island" to a kitchy science fiction fantasy land, it makes sense that Harrah's would give the drink a big stir at their Vegas namesake.

It's kinda hard to tell from "marketing department approved photos" how the room feels, but my gut feeling is that the bedroom is a smash, the living room is more cluttered than exciting, and the bathroom... well... it's bonkers.

So.... how much? Currently, the M Suites are not available for booking on Harrah's website, and their reservations line was closed when I called them, so I have no idea what the rack rate is this very moment so check back in the next day or two and I'll have some rates to post.

So what do you think? Would you stay here? How much would you be willing to pay per night here? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.

Gary Loveman must have been listening to the latest Vegas Gang podcast where the boys were talking about how Harrahs doesn't reinvest in their properties like MGM does.

Ha! I still just couldn't get too excited about staying at Harrahs.

I liked the rooms until I saw the bathroom.....that wallpaper is horrible! It looks like someone's grandma's bathroom. I get what they're trying to do with it but still its way to much

i find the rooms very interesting but that doesnt mean that I would choose to stay at Harrah's and I am a Total Rewards member. The wall paper in the bedroom is kind of barf worthy and the floral pattern in the bathroom isnt that great either. As for how much I would pay for a night I have to remember that this it still Harrah's. Would I be willing to spend more than 200-300 a night for a suite in a hotel that isnt the greatest to begin with? I would say maybe. Its an interesting move but i dont know if it's going to get a lot of folks to pick Harrah's over a more well regarded hotel.

Well I was doing just fine until you mentioned the wallpaper was the color scheme of Freddy Krueger's sweater. Now that image is stuck in my mind. OK, I'm a chicken, but if the price is right, I probably would still check out the rooms. Thanks for the review, can't wait for the walkthrough.
