Mon Ami Gabi is consistently one of the top vote getters in VegasTripping's annual Trippies readers poll awards, and for good reason. Mon Ami Gabi is a simple French bistro located right on the Strip in the shadows of the Eiffaux Tower with a great view of passers by, the fountains at Bellagio and the excitement of Las Vegas.

Picture this:it's the morning after a night of bad gambling. The hostess gives me a seat outside with a perfect view of the Bellagio. I order the chocolate and bacon waffle and a bloody mary (your choice of top shelf vodka!). As I am taking my first bite, the Bellagio fountains start, my tastebuds wrap around waffle, whipped cream, bacon and chocolate syrup and that is that-I realize why I love Vegas, go back out after my breakfast and win my money back. True story. The wait staff was excellent and even the hostess was very talkative. There is nothing like this place on a Spring morning.

I had heard a number of good reviews of this place, so tried it for dinner on a beautiful early evening. The food was fine, but the service was absolutely atrocious. After ordering a bottle of wine and an appetizer, was informed by the waiter that we had better order entrees, or he will be forced to bring us the check. So much for the lovely Parisian sidewalk brasserie!

Mon Ami Gabi is always a must stop for lunch on the patio. We have had both good and bad service, i.e. tray of drinks spilled on us and no apologies, but nevermind, things can't always be perfect. We have always found the food to be first-rate, the setting perfect for people watching as we sip our wine, enjoy our food and if timed right watch the Bellagio fountians. I wish they would bring back the fantastic salad of greens, sliced tender beef and bleu cheese. Yummmmm

Breakfast Review: This is a must do on your Vegas list. Sitting outside right on the strip (but far enough away where people can't grope you) first thing in the morning is spectacular. I felt like it should have cost's a great value and is very relaxing.

One of the places I always go to when I am in Vegas with friends. The food is excellent especially the steak roquefort. The atmosphere is casual but you almost feel a need to dress well. Getting a table for dinner can be an issue sometimes but the place is worth the wait.

Love to go for late lunch. We gamble while we wait for a table. Love the quiche , or A big bowl of muscles in white wine with a glass of white wine. And our steak at dinner was great too. Can't beat the atmosphere! I want to be there now!

One of my all-time favorite places to eat at in Vegas. I've never had a bad meal there and even sitting out on the verandah for a meal is an experience.
