IP Biloxi is now officially a Boyd Gaming property.

I hope they follow thru on their plans to renovate the place. The casino is nice, but can use some updating and 'spacing out' of games. Kinda a cramped casino.

When we went to Biloxi two years ago, I noticed the crampiness with IP. It was my first over 21 trip to Biloxi, the only other time I'd been there was when I was 17 on a family road trip. The games are crowded, especially the slot areas. When you shove that many people into a low ceiling area it gets hot fast, espcially if a lot of people are smoking. There were times when it was damn near impossible to breathe if you got stuck in a back corner.

I was in Biloxi 4 times last year (all air, room comped at the Beau) before Mlife took over and took all my fun away. I don't know what the IP was like before that, but I wasn't impressed at all on my couple of visits. The atmosphere pretty much sucked. It wasn't crowded at all, so I really didn't feel cramped, but I can see how bad it would be with a full house. Hopefully BG will make it better.
