I posted a review of the Cromwell back in June and said that the wife wanted to stay at The Cromwell during the next trip she is in Vegas. So below is another overview of this place during that stay. The report is a bit delayed getting posted to the Board…just got around to write and post it.
We stayed at The Cromwell for 4 nights in early December and this stay included the weekend (arrived Friday and checked out on Tuesday AM)…again, I cannot say enough on the employees on how professional they are and how much they ‘go-out-of-their-way’ for the customer…every staff member we had contact with exhibited great customer service…to give an example, we had a room maintenance issue the first night and the manager was doing everything that could be done to ensure the issue was fixed quickly… he gave us some resort credit, sent a gift basket to the room, and even offering to upgrade us to another room.
Even though we were on the sixth floor this time, we still did not hear any noise from the nightclub during our stay…again the room was exceptional…probably the most comfortable bed in any hotel room I visited…they relocated the free coffee station from the ground floor to the 5th and 7th floors…they said too many drunks were coming off the casino floor and getting free coffee but also busting up the machines…the new coffee service is awesome...many drink options (espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate) beside just coffee…
The craps and BJ dealers were friendly and provided ideal service…some BJ tables were 3:2, but had higher minimums…the slot machine options did not change since the June trip and still had the machines we like…craps till at 100x odds…the casino crowds were healthy each night, which was surprising for that time in December.
So in the end, we had another great stay at The Cromwell…we have no hesitation to stay here again.

Thanks for sharing this. There are many reasons to have some heartache about Las Vegas and in particular the strip. But, the Cromwell property seems to be holding its own from a customer service standpoint and that's good to hear.
That being said, I wonder what's behind the rumors of a re-branding of the name with that property? If anything happens I hope it doesn't have a negative impact on the type of service you experienced.
