Yup, I was in Vegas with 59 or so of my bestest friends to see the greatest human ever to strap on a kilt get hitched!! Congrats to DonnyMac and his loverly bride Coral!!!

So I was there from Thurs the 16th til Tues the 21st and here's how it all fell apart:

Room: Mandalay Bay, reg room. Me and the bride had to share with a friend..... but sadly no threesome (ewwww, she's like my sister, not my bride, the friend.... I've said too much). For all you hotel room nerds it was a hotel room. A little warn around the edges but still nice. Bed was comfy and clean, shower was good, toilet flushed like it was trying to take off and the maid service sucked complete balls. But since I spent as little time in there as possible, I really didn't care.

Hotel: as I said Mandalay Bay. They were swapping out the casino carpet and I was amazed at how fast that got done. Huge sections of machines moved, carpet ripped out and new stuff thrown down, machines back in all in about 6 hours! If only I could afford labour like that my new deli would be open already!!! grrrr. Made for some confusing drunken walks back to the room, but still enjoyable. And what is with leaving room service trays in the hall for three or four days?
Greatest pool around in this mans opinion. Had a cabana Saturday to recover from the stag, drink service, pool time, lazy river and scenery were all top notch.

Wedding: Was great, the bride beautiful, the bridesmaids looking fine. The men, did I mention kilts!! Man we looked HAWT!! Went off without a hitch (or maybe one - see what I did there?) and pictures were not that painful afterwards. Then came some drinking. Had the party at Ri Ra. Wow, our bartender kept my Jack Daniel's full, but by the end of the night he kept forgetting the water.....oh well there was ice in there. Good food, Good booze, Great company!

Gaming: Didn't really do any (not a lot of extra time). Had a private poker tourney at the Golden Nugget for the stag, the room was good, the dealers great, the cocktail service left a bit to be desired. Talked to the poker room manager and he was very good, they only had one server on and were trying to get another. I guess they thought a group of Canadians (and one Vespajet) couldn't drink! Dumb mistake.

Other Food: Dinner at Prime was absolutely amazing. Had a private family party for 20, so a small menu. But my filet was the best piece of ass, sorry, meat I have ever eaten! And I'm surrounded by great meat here in Alberta! Mrs Spyder had the salmon, perfect!! Service was great, room was beautiful!
Also as is our usual, went to Triple George and again were not let down. Amazing, is all I have to say.

Airport: I get to use the new terminal 3 and it is the fastest security and check in I've ever dealt with. I gotta remember that, can show up a bit closer to flight time with no probs.

I guess that is all for now, I will see you all in October and we can do it all again!!!

I see no mention of the dinner at Top Of Binion's, which is probably a good idea seeing as the kitchen there got absolutely slammed by the stag group as well as some other groups. I agree with Donnymac about some of us hitting it in October to see if our experience there Friday night was due to the kitchen getting slammed (Provided those rumors of Binion's shuttering completely for a renovation later on this summer aren't true.).

When did you manage to squeeze in a visit to Triple George? Did you go on Monday or something you bastard? ;)

The folks at Ri Ra did a bang up job keeping the booze flowing all night.

left out Binions cause I wanna give it another chance. And ya, we snuck in a bit on Monday at TG on Dt3.

I forgot how many acronyms and missing vowels I saw on this trip....

Was part of a final table in the Monte Carlo poker room Sunday that was at least 4/10 Canadian (and at least 2/10 Australian).

Wonder if it was you or some of your dudes I saw on that Sunday afternoon.
