I have to write a final essay/research paper for my English class for college. The last one I wrote was entitled "How Video Game Violence Affects Today's Youth."

Well this one I'm writing is going to be entitled
"Casinos - They Have What it Takes to Take Everything You Have" (or something similar)

The paper will include everything from casino designs (the way they design the ceilings and floor to keep you looking straight ahead), the minor and major amenities (bringing you drinks to get you drunk, holding chips while you go to the bathroom, all the way up to the free rooms, food, etc. you can get if you gamble enough)

But it's also going to list out the down side to everything. Things people people don't realize (they just dropped $10,000 on a table in hopes of getting a free room that's $100 a night - when they could've just booked the room and saved $9K) because they're so caught up in the moment.

My question for everyone is,
is there anything you know of that I probably don't, that I can include in this paper?
Are there any reputable websites out there that describe any or all of the things I'm mentioning. I have to have a works cited page and Wikipedia can't be one of them.

"Running Scared: The Life and Treacherous Times of Las Vegas Casino King Steve Wynn" ,

"Winner Takes All: Steve Wynn, Kirk Kerkorian, Gary Loveman, and the Race to Own Las Vegas"

these books are ok for some stories of high rollers and the special treatment they get and some crazy casino owner needs and wants and how they get funding. im sure these blogs and websites have some obvious finds in them.
I would help you a little more but that would require a little more cash up front :)

UNLV is a great resource for all things gaming, the website for the Center for Gaming Research (makes it sound so classy too)

They has a lot of articles and such that might be helpful and more academic than most other sources.
