Gift ideas for casino hosts.

If you were a casino host and someone sent you delicious cookies for a job well done...would you appreciate the gesture? I know cash and gift certificates are frowned upon. My host extended casino rate to my parents at the Four Queens for our upcoming trip in April even though they have never played there . I thought that was pretty cool. I won't be sending the cookies (Cherylandco.com...to DIE for) until after our stay and I was just wondering what the masses thought...

Keeping with the spirit of thanks, I'd consider dropping a Tofurky or a Turducken in the post.

Turduckens are wrong...just wrong. Hmmmm...beer-can turducken...maybe?

Monogrammed Tofurky? Vegetarians everywhere are cringing...

Good question - I am wondering that same thing. Our host comped our rooms at the Hilton in December, right before Christmas. I'm wondering what would be appropriate also...

We like to give our host something that she couldn't buy from the store herself. Lately we have been giving her ground coffee from Tim Horton's (a crazy popular coffee/donut/soup/sandwich place here in Canada (although they are expanding south).

Ohhhh.....Tim Horton's coffee...yummy! We have friends that travel to Canada on occasion and they always bring us back a can.

A gift is not really necessary. They are well compensated for their duties and a heartfelt hand written thank you goes a long way!!
If you feel necessary to send something send something monogramed with their initials... business card holder, pen set something that they will see and keepand will always remind them of your thanks.
FWIW

Awesome suggestions! Thanks!

Chuckmonster replied on Thursday, 2nd October 2008

Ok. How about a monogrammed Tofurky?

Referring back to your earlier suggestion, turducken seems the natural candidate for this... each bird could host one initial.

Check out my site www.lvdisplays.com this is a great gift idea for anyone who works in a casino.
I work in the nightclub industry inside the palms casino and most of the people who work there I gave one to and they really enjoyed it.
