I've never been a big fan of making New Year's resolutions, but I hear they work (kinda). So, if i had to make some quasi vegas related resolutions, i guess i could. Here goes it.

1) Don't book rooms at joints i've already stayed at (even if i get comps)
2) Finish the damn article about craps sharpshooting
3) Stay away from those goddamn Triple Diamond slot machines
4) Contemplate the possibility of becoming a non-smoker
5) Remember to ask Atltrainman to pimp out his MyVegas profile page
6) Send Donnymac the package already (*i'm lame*)
7) Hit the tables in A.C. with my uncle the professional card counter
which leads to:
8) Bone up on my very rusty card counting chops
9) Win one of my friend's Hold Em tournaments
10) Stay at the Golden Gate, Plaza, Fremont, El Cortez or Four Queens
11) Stop picking on ______(fill in the blank)_____ when posting news items
12) Drink more good booze
13) Order a hooker through a porn slapper then interview her for a feature article

not a bad one on that list, chuckmonster. craps sharpshooting sounds exciting. so i'm gonna add for my resolutions that i should bug chuck about that damned craps sharpshooting article.

contemplating the possibility of quitting smoking is easy, btw. did it for many years straight. then i managed to quit which was surprisingly not the worst thing ever.

i think my new year's resolution will be to target/goal the NYC Marathon. yikes.

The NYC Marathon is huge, Cherrioh. Good luck with that.

For me, I believe my main goal is to become an athlete. General enough, yah?

1. Stay away from slot machines period.
2. Place in the money in a daily poker tournament.
3. Finally bet on the horses.
4. Go gambling somewhere other than Las Vegas.
5. Splurge on a Fuente Forbidden X cigar at Casa Fuente
6. Finally visit the last few Strip casinos I've yet to go to.

hypnosis worked really well for my girlfriend as a cure for smoking, in case the idea of just going cold turkey isn't really appealing...you can probably just google "smoking cessation hypnosis" or something similar to find something close by.

I think my only resolution this year is to go to Vegas more than Donnymac, so looks like another year of broken resolutions. Other than that I'm gonna drink more, be a bigger assclown (when situations demand) smoke more cigars, and win in Vegas..... okay 3 outta 4 won't be bad

I'm not going to go as many times this year as I did last (just saw my win/loss statements LOL), ahh who am I kidding I will likely go more times. I am going to drink cheap beer at Casino Royale and continue to frequent the Breeze Bar, best bartenders in Vegas. And I am going to have a winning year in 2008!!

Consider number 5 done.
