Which casinos let you bring your own booze?

Does anyone know which casinos crack down on bringing booze and party supplies into your room? I know last year Hard Rock was confiscating bottles, and I've heard of corkage fees at other places, but haven't heard anything recently.

I know the Palms flat-out doesn't care...the bellmen will even give you a luggage cart and push it to your room. If you tip, they'll even run to Lee's to get your party supplies.

I'm assuming they aren't checking ID, so what happens if something goes horribly wrong? Would the casino be liable?

This may not be an issue at classier joints, but I know from experience that people will rent rooms at the Palms, go on a spending spree at Lee's, and throw huge parties in their room.

Even if a casino isn't liable, it seems they would want to crack down on this for two reasons...negative publicity if something went wrong, and lost F&B revenue.

Carried a cooler into the Venetian a month ago. I think it's all a matter of doing it on the sly. Pack the bottles in disguise, and you'll not have a problem. A casino can't tell you what to bring to your room. Just lay low.

We have arrived at several properties with a case of beer and some spirits and have never had an issue, including Golden Nugget, Treasure Island, Mirage, Flamingo, MGM Grand, NYNY and Monte Carlo.

If you guys stay at TI in October, I say we try to see how they respond to us trying to bring in a keg.....

For our wedding I brought a case of Champagne to our room at TheHotel actually had them bring it up for me and a nice tip had them filling up my cooler with ice.

Other trips it's been smaller amounts, but again never had any trouble.

That said I did see MB security stop a group of early-20 something guys carrying cases of beer onto the elevator, so I think it's more a matter of who you are and what you have. If you don't look like you're going to cause a problem they probably don't care, but if you look like you're trying to open the Las Vegas branch of your fraternity they might stop you.

Letting responsible people drink in their rooms but drawing the line at partying douchebags... props to Mandalay!

Dude, the day we checked out of Caesars Palace we saw a guy at valet unpacking cases of beer, a smoker, two grills, a case of meat, and cases of soda. But he had luggage (A TON OF IT) too. Him and his wife we're dressed to the nines standing there watching the valet take all that shit out of the back of his redneck truck on swampers. There were two CP staff members in the back of his truck handing crap off to the two guys at the bottom who were in turn putting it on luggage carts. A smoker and beer on a luggage cart.

Where the hell he was going with the grills and smoker I don't know. He might've been a high roller having a BBQ for himself.

Just carry the case of beer down the strip and drink the cans out of it on an as needed basis (which is all the time). I've done that a couple of times just because I could.

The funniest is seeing some lazy douchebag riding a mobility scooter with a sixer in the basket.

C'mon Vespa, Don's gonna drive his scooter towing me behind in a little red wagon with a cooler between my legs. And I'm gonna throw my empties at people I don't think should be wearing the clothing they have on. I'm buying about 4 30packs of PBR to do this with too.

This has never once been an issue for me, I always bring a case or mini keg of something. Sounds like I won't be considering the Hard Rock anytime soon!

Does Circus Circus care if you bring a bottle of Boones?
